from a sleep deprived mother!

Well, it's been a while since my last blog. Too busy at the moment. My mum is not well. She has lots of appointments coming up. No time to write. Where does the day go?|

It's the last day.
No blog for me.
As you can see.
My blog is done,
I've had some fun.
Now all I can say,
Is... HOORAY! YIPPEE! HOORAY!

I've had the worst day. One of my sons is having a problem with a teacher. I usually don't interfere with what happens at school, but he is being singled out. I asked him if he was well behaved at school. He told me that most of the time he is, but sometimes he's not. (this one IS honest!) The poor thing comes home everyday to tell me that the teacher had been cranky with him.|
I'm not one to think that my kids are angels because I see what they're like at home. The teacher in question is not his class teacher which is one good thing, I suppose. At the school where they go, we get weekly bulletins that include handy information for parents about giving children positive reinforcement. HELLO, what's happening here! My son was in trouble the other day because he was away. When I questioned him about it, he said that it was because he didn't know about a sheet that was given out while he was away. He asked the teacher for one and that's when she started. I usually get on with most people and I do think that most teachers are great, but this really cuts deep.
I have an appointment with his class teacher tomorrow. I saw the principal the other day and he told me to talk to the teacher in question. GUESS WHAT? When I tried to make the appointment to see her, she told the school assistant that she can't possibly spare 5 minutes at all this week. YEAH RIGHT!

When are we going to get some rain? What's rain you ask? You know that wet stuff that falls from the sky. My poor old garden, needs it, not to mention everyone else. I have neglected it since I started Uni. The weeds are a mile high, plants are dying and way on down the back is a desert. Friends always comment that we have a huge yard and they would love to have one. It's not always a good thing to have an enormous back yard.|
It takes us 2 hours to mow the lawn, because there's just so much of it. Although cutting the lawn is a family affair. Hubby does the edges and whipper-snipping, I mow the lawn and my mum does the blowing. I wish these boys of mine would grow a bit bigger so I can pay them to do it.

Well not many days now till the end of this assignment. I don't know whether or not I'm looking forward to the end. It's quite funny when you start something you know little of (e.g.HTML), at first you hate it, then it seems to grow on you, then when it's gone you miss it! Strange little creatures we are.|
I bought a Thesaurus today. Never had one before and I don't know how I've survived without one. I think now that I'll be fighting my husband for possession of it 'cause he loves doing cross-word puzzles. Don't you hate that! You buy a new thing and someone else claims it. I went crackers five minutes ago because one of the kids took my pencil.
Sleep deprived or what!
